The movement to in-source public services is gaining steam across Europe. According to Vice Impact, communities in Spain, UK, Germany, and Austria are turning their backs on the privatization of water, rail, and energy. According to Sakoto Kishimoto Lead Researcher at the Transnational Institute (TNI) people are over the idea of privatization. "The feedback we're getting," he says, "is that local populations found public services more efficient and less costly."
